Coaches of the Month

We want to announce our January Sporting Nebraska Competitive Coaches of the Month. Both of these coaches bring a lot to our organization and go above and beyond.

Boys Coach of the Month - Brian Coyle

Coach Brian has been a critical part of the growth of our Lincoln Competitive Program. Brian has been ambitious in his coaching education efforts, recently completing his US Soccer “D” license. Brian’s has a true growth mindset, best displayed by his desire to learn, his open-mindedness to mentorship, interaction with his coaching peers, and his selfless approach to player development. Brian currently coaches the u11 Elite team in our Lincoln program. Thanks for all you do, Brian! - Ryan Kruse

Girls Coach of the Month - Ed Meitzen

Ed has been working with our players and staff promoting the game and the Sporting name within Lincoln. Ed completed the USC Goalkeepers Diploma in December and led many education sessions this last season. In my recent trips to Lincoln I have seen the hard work and leadership Ed has shared with our players and families. We are all excited about the future of our Lincoln program under his leadership.
